Welcome to the official website for anyone keen to play Aussie Rules in Bordeaux, France.
Australian Rules Football is taking off in France after the first French Cup in 2008 which was held in Paris and this year Bordeaux hosted the 2009 French Cup.
Six teams participated: Bordeaux "Bx Bombers", Paris Cockerels, Montpellier Firesharks, Toulouse Crocodiles, Strasbourg Kangaroos and the Perpignan Tigers.
The sport is very young in France and we are constantly on the lookout for more players, so if you are keen simply contact us by email @ bxbombersfooty@gmail.com.
We are also looking at organising foreign student exchanges, so if you are a student in Australia and you would like to spend a year in France we are more than happy to help you find a place to stay and even a job.
